Our Story
Our roots in the engraving trade go back to 1989, giving us a depth of knowledge and practical experience that’s increasingly rare. Over more than three decades we’ve worked across virtually every application — from commemorative brass plaques and industrial valve tags to complex control panel legends and bespoke signage — and that breadth of experience shows in the quality of everything we produce. Anvil Engraving was established to focus on what we do best: precision engraving work that demands real skill, proper machinery, and an eye for detail. We’re particularly drawn to the jobs that others find difficult — unusual materials, complex layouts, tight tolerances — because that’s where experience genuinely makes a difference.
What we do differently
We’re a specialist workshop, not a production line. Every order is handled with care and attention, and we take the time to get things right. If something can be done better, we’ll say so. If a job needs a conversation before we start, we’ll have it. Our workshop is equipped with an extensive range of machinery — CNC engravers, laser engravers, and more — which means we can match the right technique to each job rather than forcing every project through the same process. The result is a better finish, a more durable product, and a result you’ll actually be proud of.
The jobs we love
Variety is what keeps this craft interesting. One day it’s a memorial plaque for a family garden, the next it’s a batch of industrial traffolite labels for a water treatment plant.
